1846 saw Toddington get its first Post Office, 1853 mains gas
installed in the village, and in 1855 Mr W. Dodge Cooper, the
Lord of the Manor presents the village with a pump.
Today Toddington is still the thriving town that is has been
for so many years. There are two schools, too many pubs to
name and good selection of shops and other local amenities,
including bakers, dentists, garage and a chemist. As for Toddington
Manor, today it invites visitors to explore its gardens, woods,
lakes and tractor collection on selected days of the year.
